Jason Michael Lee (born April 25, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, television producer, and skateboarder. Lee is known for his role as Earl Hickey in the television series ''My Name Is Earl'', the role of Dave Seville in the ''Alvin and the Chipmunks'' film franchise, the voice of Syndrome in ''The Incredibles'', the voice of Charlie in We Bare Bears, and for starring in films directed by Kevin Smith, including ''Mallrats''.
A skateboard enthusiast, Lee is the co-founder and co-owner of Stereo Skateboards, a company that manufactures skateboard decks.

Lee was born on April 25, 1970, in Santa Ana, California to parents Greg and Carol Lee.
